Creating Events
Producing Bigger, Badder, Bolder Results

Consultation

We like to start with understanding your project/event goals to ensure that every element is strategically formed to produce results.

HINT! If you're sourcing various elements of a project, consulting a company like GVP can take the stress out of having to find and manage these different aspects on your own.

Ideation (Creative Brainstorming)

Brainstorming is a huge part of the process to form ideas and new ways to accomplish your goals. There are a few different ways we like to do this, depending on the project. We may do this in form of a “Post It Party,” a “Free Your Mind” exercise, or a game of “Flip It.” Either way, this is always a fun process that we invite you and your team to be a part of. If adding another thing to your calendar sounds more stressful than fun, don’t worry, we can do this within our own team and just share with you the results.

HINT! If you’re the creative type, you’ll enjoy this process. From our experience, organizations, individuals, event planners, agencies, and other client’s of ours often find value in the ideation of a project.

Presentation

Use GVP as an extension of your own team when creating a presentation, bidding on an event/project, determining plans for a site visit, or trying to sell an idea to another department or upper management. From visuals, to videos, to demonstrations, to virtual reality, we can help create a presentation that will leave them saying “yes!”

HINT! Even if you don’t actually need any custom creations, it’s still a great idea to include an experiential production company like GVP in your ideation process when planning a big presentation.

Experiential Marketing & Brand Integration

If you take a moment to think about the best event you've ever attended, I bet you can recall exactly where you were, who you were with, and how you felt. You remember little moments throughout the day that exceeded your expectations and left you grinning from ear to ear. That feeling you had and that memory you carry with you, THAT is the experience we aim to create with every project we produce.

We understand that it's not just what you say, but how you deliver the message. In todays world, people want an experience to take with them. We design experiences infused with your brand to make sure when consumers/attendees think back on that fond experience, you're included in the memory.

HINT! Remember that you can create experiences anywhere; In a presentation, on the street, inside a trade show booth, at an event, in an activation space, at a venue location, on a phone/ electronic device, and even within ads. Teach yourself to think without limitations, and watch what happens!

Event Planning

This service is currently only offered in collaboration with GVP’s Live Event Production (see the service tab for details). Event planners, not to be confused with event producers, are generally responsible for all the event details outside the "show production." This includes things like venue selection, registration, managing entire project budgets, selecting a theme, food & beverage, décor/furniture, coordinating travel, tenting, waste management, security, permitting, fencing, pipe & drape, securing internet & cable connections, venue power & electricity, and anything else you might need to actually put on an event. The event planner/s work hand-in hand with event producers to make sure all aspects of the project are working together. The benefit to using GVP is our staff is experienced in both planning and production, so we work well individually or together; providing collaboration in many of these areas. We have event planning partners that we work with regularly to play the role of the event planner when our schedules get full or when we have major events that need extra attention. This ensures the highest quality service every time.

HINT! In some cases, your Event Producer can also be your Event Planner, but it largely depends on the size of the event and the scope of each project.
